IgniterX Problems in OS X

After playing back Final Cut Pro files maybe 1 or 2 times there is no audio, even in other applications.

You may have a corrupt system file or corrupt Final Cut Pro installation. Throw away your Final Cut Pro preferences and MOA Cache files. If you still experience problems then throw away your Quicktime preferences and immediately restart the computer. If you still experience problems then do a clean install of Final Cut Pro.

I can capture video without problems, but Final Cut Pro quits when I try to playback. I have two drives attached to the Sonnet RAID 133 card.

The Sonnet RAID 133 card is not on our approved list (see the installation notes). Remove this card; it is the source of many problems.

How do I make the IgniterX output Video Only in OS X?

Uncheck "mirror on desktop" in the external video setup panel of your application.

Capturing video on the raid seems to work, but QuickTime crashes immediately upon opening the file.

The ATA Raid controller is not approved for use in OS X and is not on our recommended list. Many manufactures have found that this controller no longer works in OS X as it did in OS 9. Have them remove it and the RAID will be fine.
